Munich-based proptech Predium raises €13m in Series A investment to further develop its software platform and to expand into new markets.

Predium allows real estate and finance companies to combine regulatory compliance with profitability. The industry has responded positively: Predium already counts Deutsche Investment Group, Colliers, Soravia, and Baloise as customers.
MUNICH, 28th November 2024. Predium, a leading provider of ESG management solutions for the real estate and finance industry, has successfully closed a Series A financing round of 13 million euros. With this investment, Predium strengthens its position as the Real Estate Intelligence Platform for sustainable and economical real estate management.
The round is led by Norrsken VC, the venture capital fund that is part of Klarna founder Niklas Adalberth’s Norrsken Foundation. Norrsken is investing in Predium’s vision of decarbonising the real estate industry in an economically viable way. The existing investors UVC Partners, b2venture, and Mutschler Ventures are also participating again and increasing their investment in Predium.
The real estate industry is facing regulatory and market-driven change. The EU is planning a climate-neutral building sector by 2050, while interest rates have changed significantly, putting pressure on building values and yields. Investors, banks, and owners are demanding more transparency on sustainable and economic performance. Compared to the past golden decade, buildings today need to be managed proactively in order to secure or increase their value. Non-ESG-compliant buildings are penalized with a reduction in value.
The key to sustainable and profitable real estate lies in the availability and meaningful processing of data. Predium reads existing data — such as from energy performance certificates and invoices — and automatically enriches missing information using AI, satellite images, and 3D models. Predium users receive all key ESG figures, stranding risks, and financial indicators at a glance. The solution enables portfolio owners, banks, insurance companies, investors, and housing companies to identify ESG risks and prioritize renovation actions based on costs, savings potential, and subsidies — both for individual buildings or their entire portfolio. This way, Predium helps its customers assess the risk of their assets and decide which building should be bought, renovated, or sold and when. The client portfolio now includes companies such as the Deutsche Investment Group, Colliers, and Baloise.
